Privacy policy
No accounts and no advertising trackers. We count visits so we know which pages help people.

What ePedaler stores
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, sign-up forms or comment boxes. The trikes you pick to compare, and whether you hid the filters on the browse page, are saved in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
How we count visits
We use two analytics services to see which pages people read, how they arrived and roughly where they are (country or city), so we know what to check and improve next:
- Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named
_ga) to recognise a returning browser. Google processes the data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on. - Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views without cookies.
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies unless you accept them in the banner; until then Google receives only anonymous, cookieless visit signals. You can change your answer at any time:
We see only totals and trends, never who you are. We don't use this data for advertising and don't sell or share it.
Services your browser contacts
Loading a page also sends requests to these services, which see your IP address and browser details the way any website does:
- Cloudflare hosts the site. It keeps standard request logs for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces.
- AvantLink, an affiliate network, loads a small script that confirms we own this site.
Each handles that data under its own privacy policy. None of them receives anything from us about what you read or compare.
Brand and affiliate links
When you follow a link to a brand's store, that site's privacy policy applies. Affiliate links (see the disclosure) pass through an affiliate network such as Awin first, which may set a cookie on its own domain to credit a purchase to us. We receive order details such as the sale value and our commission, never your name, address or payment details.
Questions and requests
We hold no personal data about you ourselves. Analytics data is kept by Google and Ahrefs, not linked to your name, and you can clear it by deleting your cookies. If you email us, we use your message only to reply and delete it when it's no longer needed. Questions go to [email protected]. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
